Deep and glossy in the glass. The aromas here suggest sweet, ripe blackcurrant fruit with notes of cedar and blackcurrant leaf. The palate possesses a wealth of soft-skinned, dark fruit and is gently mouthfilling with pure layers. The tannins lend definition and backbone but are not overly assertive, making for a very appealing style. This is textured, mineral and accessible and will give plenty of pleasure in its youth. Very graceful, with a natural balance and a long finish.
